Ashley Hinson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 2nd district, shared updates on her recent activities through a series of tweets. The congresswoman emphasized her commitment to supporting Iowa's agriculture, small businesses, and rural health care.

On February 10, 2025, Hinson expressed appreciation for Stuart Swanson, President of Iowa Corn. She stated: "Always a pleasure to see Stuart Swanson, the President of Iowa Corn. Thank you for your continued advocacy for Iowa’s corn producers – I will always be a strong voice for Iowa agriculture in Congress!"

The following day, on February 11, 2025, Hinson reported voting in favor of legislation aimed at reducing paperwork burdens on small businesses. She wrote: "I voted in favor of @ZachNunn’s Protect Small Business from Excessive Paperwork Act, giving our Main Street community a reprieve from insane beneficial ownership paperwork requirements. Without action, many small business owners will face fines of $500/day or even jail time…"

Later that same day, she highlighted her engagement with Iowa community health centers and her recognition as an advocate for rural healthcare access: "Iowa community health centers provide affordable, comprehensive health care services to Iowans, especially those in rural areas. I enjoyed meeting with their team and am honored to receive their distinguished advocate award."
