On February 10, 2025, Hinson expressed appreciation for Stuart Swanson, President of Iowa Corn. She stated: "Always a pleasure to see Stuart Swanson, the President of Iowa Corn. Thank you for your continued advocacy for Iowa’s corn producers – I will always be a strong voice for Iowa agriculture in Congress!"
The following day, on February 11, 2025, Hinson reported voting in favor of legislation aimed at reducing paperwork burdens on small businesses. She wrote: "I voted in favor of @ZachNunn’s Protect Small Business from Excessive Paperwork Act, giving our Main Street community a reprieve from insane beneficial ownership paperwork requirements. Without action, many small business owners will face fines of $500/day or even jail time…"
