Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congress member representing Iowa’s 2nd district, has recently shared her views on several significant issues via social media. Hinson, who succeeded Abby Finkenauer in 2021 and previously served in the Iowa House of Representatives, has used her platform to express support for local sports achievements, diplomatic efforts, and educational initiatives.

On February 11, 2025, Hinson congratulated local high school wrestling teams for their performance at the state championship. Later that day on February 12th, she highlighted the role of community colleges in Iowa's economy through another message.
