On February 6, 2025, Hinson announced her upcoming appearance on Newsmax to discuss the national prayer breakfast. She stated, "Tune in! I’m joining @NEWSMAX to discuss this morning’s national prayer breakfast at 1:50pm CT/2:50pm ET!"

Later that day, Hinson expressed her support for President Trump's initiatives regarding border policies and addressed the drug epidemic affecting the nation. On February 7, 2025, Hinson highlighted her staff's participation in a local economic meeting. She commented on their involvement with the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance annual meeting by stating, "I'm thankful my staff was able to attend the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance annual meeting.
