Ashley Hinson, U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa’s 2nd district since 2021, posted a series of messages on her official X account between September 1 and September 3, 2025, addressing topics including Labor Day, appreciation for fellow lawmakers, and law enforcement.

On September 1, Hinson recognized American workers in a holiday message: "Happy Labor Day to the hardworking men & women who have built this country & make our nation so great. American workers finally have a champion in the White House!"

The following day, she expressed gratitude to Senator Joni Ernst for her service: "Thank you to @SenJoniErnst for your incredible service to our state and nation & for your friendship over the years. Iowa is better off thanks to your selfless service https://t.co/Yk6b7jMJDZ" (September 2).

On September 3, Hinson addressed support for Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents: "NEW: America’s courageous ICE agents put their lives on the line every day to uphold the rule of law and protect our citizens from violent, criminal illegal aliens. Instead of standing with law enforcement, the radical Left sides with dangerous illegal aliens and even wants to".

Hinson has served in Congress since replacing Abby Finkenauer in 2021. She previously represented her community in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 until joining Congress. Born in Des Moines in 1983 and currently residing in Marion, Hinson holds a BA from the University of Southern California.
