City of Fairbank issued the following announcement on Oct. 4.
Attn Fairbank Residents: Please fill out one of the surveys that you can find on our website at www.fairbank-ia.org! Oran Mutual Telephone Company and Readlyn Telephone Company need to gauge the interests of our residents in town on the need/want for fiber optic cables ran to their homes for higher/better quality internet, phone, and TV options. Surveys can be dropped off at City Hall in Fairbank. There are also blank surveys to fill out or pick up at City Hall as well. Please have them submitted to City Hall by 5 pm on October 11th. Thank you!
