Ashley Hinson discusses energy strategy and economic growth on social media

Ashley Hinson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 2nd district, has continued to express her support for various issues in a series of recent tweets. Hinson, who succeeded Abby Finkenauer in this role in 2021, has a background in the Iowa House of Representatives and has been an advocate for pro-worker and pro-family legislation.

On April 14, 2025, Hinson expressed gratitude on Twitter, stating, "Thank you to @SecRollins & @POTUS for understanding that ethanol is key to our all of the above energy strategy!" This tweet reflects her support for ethanol's role in national energy strategies.

Later that day, Hinson tweeted about significant economic plans from NVIDIA. Her tweet read, "Within the next four years, @NVIDIA plans to produce up to $500 billion in economic infrastructure in the US! The Trump effect!!," signaling her approval of what she describes as an economic influence stemming from past policies.

Ashley Hinson was born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1983 and now resides in Marion. She graduated from the University of Southern California in 2004 with a BA. Her role in Congress and prior experience in Iowa's House of Representatives have emphasized her focus on legislative efforts for economic growth and family support.
