Ashley Hinson, U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa’s 2nd district, has been actively engaging with constituents during her ongoing 22 County Tour, according to a series of posts made in late August 2025.
On August 28, Hinson shared details about her recent activities: "The 22 County tour is in full swing. In addition to two in-person town halls yesterday, I visited Zoetis in Charles City and Kittleson Brothers in St. Ansgar. I will continue to be accessible to Iowans and travel across the district to hear from you." She further updated followers later that day on additional stops: "Enjoyed visiting Terraform Tillage and Daniel Adams Fine Art Gallery in Eldora last week. For more info on my 22 County Tour, subscribe to my weekly e-newsletter:"
On August 30, Hinson also took time to recognize local achievement: "Congratulations to Iowa’s very own Michael McCoy for his win in the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship! You make Iowa proud!"
Hinson has represented Iowa's 2nd district since replacing Abby Finkenauer in Congress in 2021 and previously served four years in the Iowa House of Representatives. Born in Des Moines and currently residing in Marion, she holds a BA from the University of Southern California.
