Ashley Hinson, U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa’s 2nd district, shared updates on her recent agricultural engagements in a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) between August 15 and August 16, 2025.
On August 15, Hinson posted about a discussion focused on agriculture: "Talking all things ag with @BRNAgNews_Brent! https://t.co/R7LuTWuHdc". The following day, she highlighted her participation in a local event by stating, "Fun to celebrate Iowa Corn Day at the fair with @iowa_corn ! https://t.co/Dn8bE2d2QG".
Later on August 16, Hinson referenced a meeting with members of the Iowa Cattlemen's Association: "Lunch with Bryan and Emily with the Iowa Cattlemen! Hinson has served as a member of the U.S. Congress since 2021 after replacing Abby Finkenauer. She previously represented her constituents in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021. Born in Des Moines in 1983 and currently residing in Marion, Hinson graduated from the University of Southern California in 2004.
