Ashley Hinson, U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa’s 2nd district since 2021, shared updates on her recent activities in Grinnell and at the Iowa State Fair through a series of posts on August 15, 2025.
In one post, Hinson described her meeting with Small Business Administration official Kelly and local entrepreneurs: "Productive conversation yesterday with @SBA_Kelly and several small business owners in Grinnell! Hinson has represented Iowa’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Abby Finkenauer in 2021. Prior to her congressional service, she was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021. Born in Des Moines in 1983 and currently residing in Marion, Hinson holds a BA from the University of Southern California.
