Ashley Hinson highlights support for Biden policies and local manufacturing successes

Ashley Hinson, U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa’s 2nd district, posted a series of tweets in August 2025 highlighting her support for President Biden’s policies and local manufacturing initiatives in Iowa.

On August 9, Hinson expressed optimism about the current administration's economic agenda, stating: ".@POTUS is positioning the U.S. to outpace global competitors, drive innovation and job growth, and invest in hardworking communities for generations to come, including right here in Iowa. Excited to continue delivering on the president’s America First agenda and ushering in a https://t.co/NJcuDEM1cl".

Two days later, on August 11, she commented on President Biden's leadership style with a brief message: ".@POTUS is the law and order president https://t.co/ht02Zgus0a".

Later that day, Hinson highlighted a visit to Legacy Manufacturing alongside Senator Joni Ernst. She wrote: "Had a fantastic visit to Legacy Manufacturing with @SenJoniErnst to highlight a true Made in America success story. The domestic production line for the signature Flexzilla Hose is already running with 40% of suppliers here in the U.S., and the entire product line will be 100% https://t.co/OoWnNmMfBy".

Hinson has represented Iowa’s 2nd District since 2021 after serving four years in the Iowa House of Representatives. Born in Des Moines in 1983 and currently residing in Marion, she graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in 2004.
