Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congress member representing Iowa's 2nd district since 2021, has shared her views on various political issues through recent social media posts. Her statements reflect her support for agricultural policies, former President Trump's agenda, and Speaker Johnson's leadership.

On May 21, 2025, Hinson expressed appreciation for Secretary Rollins's Small Family Farms Policy Agenda, which she believes will provide essential tools for the next generation of farmers to succeed. She thanked Secretary Rollins for their leadership and support of Iowa's agricultural communities.

The following day, May 22, 2025, Hinson commented on the electoral choices of Iowans who "overwhelmingly voted for President Trump’s America First agenda." In her tweet, she highlighted key components of this agenda: ending illegal immigration, preventing dangerous criminals and drugs from entering communities, cutting wasteful spending, and unleashing American energy. She also expressed pride in being part of this process.

Later that day, Hinson remarked on the perception of Speaker Johnson by the DC media. In her statement, she asserted that the media often underestimates Speaker Johnson but has been proven wrong once again.

Ashley Hinson was born in Des Moines in 1983 and currently resides in Marion. Before serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Abby Finkenauer, she was a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California.
