Ashley Hinson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 2nd district, has been vocal on social media about her efforts and support for various issues. Her recent tweets cover topics ranging from agriculture to economic recovery and law enforcement appreciation.

On May 12, 2025, Hinson expressed gratitude towards Farnear Holsteins for a farm tour, emphasizing the importance of agriculture in Iowa's economy. She stated, "Many thanks to the folks at Farnear Holsteins for a great tour of their farm on Friday! Agriculture is the heart and soul of Iowa’s economy, and our farmers are counting on a return to commonsense, which is why I’m fighting to lower taxes, pass a 5-year farm bill."

The following day, May 13, she commented on President Trump's efforts to revitalize the economy post-Biden administration. She tweeted, "Promises made, promises kept. President Trump is working around the clock to restore our economy for hardworking Americans who suffered under four years of failed Bidenomics!"

Later that day, Hinson acknowledged National Police Week by expressing her gratitude towards law enforcement officers. In her tweet she mentioned, "It’s #NationalPoliceWeek! Saying thank you will never be enough for the incredible sacrifices our law enforcement officers & their families make each day to protect our communities." She reaffirmed her commitment to supporting law enforcement.

Ashley Hinson has represented Iowa's 2nd District since 2021 after replacing Abby Finkenauer. Prior to this role in Congress, she served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 until 2021. Born in Des Moines in 1983 and now residing in Marion, Hinson holds a BA from the University of Southern California.
