Ashley Hinson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 2nd district, has recently shared updates on her activities and collaborations through social media. These updates reflect her ongoing engagement with advocacy efforts and policy development.

On May 8, 2025, Hinson expressed appreciation for Christina Perri's visit to her Washington D.C. office. "I loved having Christina Perri stop by my DC office and share her powerful story." She highlighted Perri's role as a leading advocate for improving maternal care and preventing stillbirths, expressing gratitude for Perri's contributions on behalf of mothers and aspiring mothers.

Ashley Hinson has been serving in Congress since replacing Abby Finkenauer in 2021. Before this role, she was part of the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 until her congressional election victory. Born in Des Moines in 1983 and currently residing in Marion at age 39, she is an alumna of the University of Southern California with a BA degree obtained in 2004.
