Ashley Hinson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 2nd district, took to X.com recently to share her insights and experiences from recent events and policies important to her constituents. Hinson has been representing Iowa’s 2nd District since 2021 after replacing Abby Finkenauer. She also served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021.

On April 25, 2025, Hinson shared her commitment towards childcare after visiting Little Sprouts. She highlighted the importance of providing access to quality and affordable childcare, stating, "Every family—regardless of their zip code—deserves access to quality, affordable child care—and I’m committed to making that a reality."

On April 26, 2025, Ashley Hinson spoke about her recent travels across her district, Iowa's 2nd, where she engaged with local residents. She expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet with constituents in various counties, saying, "Had an exciting week on the road traveling across #IA02 and hearing first-hand what matters most to those I serve!"

Furthermore, in a post dated April 28, 2025, Hinson told of the Trump Administration's decision regarding E15, allowing its sale uninterrupted over the summer. She thanked the President for supporting Iowa farmers, noting, “A huge thank you to @POTUS for following through on his commitments to Iowa farmers & biofuels producers."

Ashley Hinson, born in Des Moines, Iowa, graduated with a BA from the University of Southern California in 2004, and currently resides in Marion.
