Ashley Hinson was born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1983, currently resides in Marion, and holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California. She succeeded Abby Finkenauer in the U.S. Congress in 2021 and served previously in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021.
