Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congress member representing Iowa's 2nd district, used her social media platform to discuss various issues and commend certain individuals and administrative actions. Hinson, who replaced Abby Finkenauer in 2021 and has served in Congress since, also previously served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021.
On April 14, 2025, Hinson celebrated the efforts of key figures, stating, "Amazing news and a job well done to @SecRubio, @aboehler, and the admin for their relentless efforts to bring Americans home!"
The following day, on April 15, 2025, Hinson expressed her discontent with the annual tax day, remarking, "Every year, tax day is a glaring reminder of just how much the government takes. This year, it is even more frustrating as @Elon & @DOGE have uncovered egregious abuses of taxpayer dollars. We are taking historic steps to root out waste and lower taxes for everyone, especially."
Later that day, she addressed regulatory concerns regarding the accessibility of milk options for children, stating, ".@SecRollins & @POTUS get it. It’s long past time to slash the Biden Admin’s ridiculous regulations so our growing kids can have expanded access to healthy milk options—all while benefitting Iowa’s dairy producers!"
Ashley Hinson, born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1983 and a graduate of the University of Southern California with a BA in 2004, currently resides in Marion.
