Ashley Hinson, a current member of the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 2nd district, recently shared her views on various legislative actions and policy priorities through social media posts. Hinson, who has been in Congress since 2021, highlighted issues such as community safety, educational integrity, and fiscal responsibility.

On March 27, 2025, Hinson acknowledged efforts by the current administration in addressing community safety. "Excellent news. I’m thankful to have an administration that’s committed to bringing these violent criminals to justice—and restoring the safety and security our communities deserve."

Later on the same day, she expressed her support for recent House legislation aimed at regulating foreign funding in U.S. colleges. "ICYMI the House took action to crack down on shady foreign cash flowing into our colleges across the U.S. I voted YES on the DETERRENT Act to demand transparency for the sake of both students & taxpayers. Accountability starts here."

On March 28, 2025, Hinson emphasized her stance on federal funding priorities, criticizing the use of taxpayer money on divisive programs. "We should be funding things that benefit the American people—not woke social experiments that sow division and waste taxpayer money!"
