Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa’s 2nd district since 2021, shared her views on significant national and international issues through a series of tweets. Hinson, who has served in the U.S. Congress after replacing Abby Finkenauer, previously worked in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021.

On January 27, 2025, Hinson marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day by reflecting on the historical atrocities committed against Jewish people during World War II. She emphasized the importance of remembering these events to prevent future occurrences. "On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we pause to remember the millions of innocent Jewish people brutally murdered by the Nazis. We must continue to combat antisemitism and ensure such atrocities never happen again."

Later that day, Hinson expressed optimism about former President Donald Trump's impact on national policies and governance. She highlighted actions taken under his leadership aimed at economic prosperity and immigration reform. "In just one week, Trump is restoring prosperity to our country. We’re ending illegal immigration, eliminating DEI, & getting federal bureaucrats back into the office. America is roaring back!"

Continuing her support for Trump’s initiatives, Hinson conveyed her enthusiasm for collaborating with him in future endeavors aimed at prioritizing American interests. On January 28, she tweeted: "Great to hear from President Trump tonight & look forward to working with him to put America first!"
