The City of Cedar Falls and the City of Waterloo will be presenting Stormwater Pollution Prevention Contractor Training on February 23, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Cedar Falls Public Library (524 Main Street in Cedar Falls). Any contractor who works at a construction site in Cedar Falls, Hudson, or Waterloo including developers, inspectors, excavators, framers, painters, concrete installers, landscapers, and roofers is encouraged to attend this free workshop.

Participants will learn how to keep sites in compliance and avoid stop-in inspections, stop work orders, fines, and other enforcement actions. Whether you are responsible for the weekly inspections, fixing issues, or you work at a construction site that can generate stormwater pollution, you are required to comply with Federal, State, and Local regulations. This workshop will help you learn and review what the regulations are so you can stay in compliance.

Schedule:

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Workshops and Q&A
