Waterloo residents and the business community are invited to attend the Smart City Education and Input Session presented by Honeywell, Waterloo’s Smart City strategic planning partner. The event will take place at Singlespeed Brewing Company, 325 Commercial, Waterloo from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
As part of Waterloo’s Smart City strategic planning process, project leaders from Honeywell will give an overview on Smart Cities and the benefits to residents and the economy, followed by a public input session. Lincoln Savings Bank will provide hors d’oeuvres.
Waterloo was chosen earlier this fall to participate in Honeywell’s Smart City Accelerator along with four other cities in the country, Louisville, Phoenix, San Diego, and Cincinnati.
