RedTail soccer student-athlete Dilesh Patel has been named Scheels Male Athlete of the Week for his performance against Scott Community College on Tuesday, October 4.
Dilesh was a top scorer for the RedTails blowout win against Scott Community College. Of the 12-0 win, Dilesh scored three goals and had two assists. He has had an outstanding season with four goals and five assists as the RedTail men's soccer looks to the ICCAC playoffs.
"Dilesh is one of our most important players," said interim head coach Anthony Velez. "It is great to see him in the scoresheet again. His drive to consistently bring good performances is unmatched and demands a lot from his other teammates. Dilesh is a great leader on the field and off the field."
