Carlie Hoppe Wins Female Rising RedTail Award

Award

The Hawkeye Community College RedTails gathered for their banquet and awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 27, where Carlie Hoppe was awarded Female Rising RedTail Award.

Hoppe has had a great year on the track and field team. She is dedicated to school and track and field, as she has received NJCAA Third Team Academic All American and three time- First Team Academic All Region Honors. 

While maintaining her 3.8 GPA, she competes in multiple events, including the Heptathlon and Pentathlon. Hoppe also works a part-time job and is an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee as the president.

"She is always up for a challenge and gives 120% at the task at hand. Carlie is an outstanding leader of RedTail Athletics," said head coach Tyler Mulder.
