Hawkeye Community College Athletics recently issued the following announcement.
DIKE–Lexie Fager signed her letter of intent to continue her academic and volleyball career at Hawkeye Community College.
Fager is a libero and defensive specialist who played at Dike-New Hartford high school. In 2021, Dike-New Hartford won the Class 2A State Volleyball Tournament. During the 2021-22 season, Fager had 351 digs and 108 assists.
"Lexie is a great player and we are excited to have another Dike-New Hartford player on the team. She will bring a high level of competitiveness and stability to the program," head coach Tyann Wolfensperger added.
Fager commented, "I'm excited to play volleyball at Hawkeye Community College because it gives me the opportunity to continue the sport I love while pursuing an education that will help achieve my goals for the future."
Fager plans to major in business while at Hawkeye Community College.
