On July 3, 2025, Hinson announced her travel plans via Air Force One, stating "Next stop: the great state of Iowa on AF1!" This tweet signifies her ongoing connection with her home state as she returns to Iowa.
The following day, July 4th, Hinson expressed her patriotic sentiments in celebration of Independence Day. She remarked "Happy Fourth of July! The Fourth has always been one of my favorite holidays because we get to take stock of the freedoms & opportunities guaranteed to us as Americans. We live in the greatest country on earth!" Born in Des Moines and currently residing in Marion, Iowa, she holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California obtained in 2004.
