Ashley Hinson, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa’s 2nd district, has been active on social media discussing key issues and events she is involved in. Since replacing Abby Finkenauer in 2021, Hinson has continued to focus on various matters impacting her constituents.

On June 4, 2025, Hinson highlighted the efforts of White House OMB Director Russ Vought in "right-sizing our government & eliminating onerous regulations for taxpayers." She encouraged followers to tune into the House Appropriations GOP hearing where these topics were discussed.

Ashley Hinson was born in Des Moines, Iowa in 1983 and resides in Marion. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in 2004 and served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021 before joining Congress.
