Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa's 2nd district, recently shared her views on several issues via social media. Her posts highlight key political and economic topics she is currently engaged with.

On May 12, 2025, Hinson praised President Biden and his team for their efforts in negotiating fair trade deals to prioritize American workers. She specifically mentioned the importance of engaging China in these negotiations, attributing the success to former President Trump's actions. "@POTUS and his team have relentlessly fought for fair trade deals to put American workers first. We needed to get China to the negotiating table & President Trump made that happen!"

Later that day, Hinson expressed gratitude towards T and T Equipment Rentals after visiting them in Dubuque. She commended the small family-owned business for its significant contribution to the local economy and community. Ashley Hinson has served in Congress since 2021 after replacing Abby Finkenauer. Born in Des Moines in 1983, she resides in Marion and holds a BA from the University of Southern California.
