Ashley Hinson, a current U.S. Congress member representing Iowa's 2nd district since 2021, has shared several insights via her Twitter account. Hinson, who succeeded Abby Finkenauer and previously represented her state in the Iowa House from 2017 to 2021, expressed her commitment to her constituents and the achievements under President Donald Trump's administration.

On April 29, 2025, Hinson communicated her readiness to return to Washington, D.C., and her enthusiasm for President Trump's first 100 days in office. She tweeted, "Back in DC serving Iowans – I’m ready to deliver results this week and celebrate President Trump’s historic first 100 days in office!!"

Later that day, she issued a further statement highlighting the progress achieved during President Trump's initial period in office. Her post read, "My statement on the first 100 days of unprecedented successes under @POTUS and with @HouseGOP "

In a subsequent tweet, Hinson elaborated on these "unprecedented successes," listing key areas of achievement such as border security and energy. She observed, "Closing in on 100 days of President Trump back in the Oval, and the results speak for themselves: strong and CLOSED borders, American energy back on top, peace through strength restored on the world stage, and a more competitive America. Promises made, promises kept."

Ashley Hinson, born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1983, currently lives in Marion. She graduated from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2004.
