Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa's 2nd district, shared her views on various topics through a series of tweets. Hinson has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Abby Finkenauer and previously served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017 to 2021.

On February 19, 2025, Hinson expressed gratitude towards Secretary Rubio and President Biden for their efforts against drug cartels at the border. She stated, "The days of cartels and drug smugglers exploiting Biden’s disastrous border policies are over. Thank you, @SecRubio & @POTUS!"

Later that day, she commended Chief Mike Kitsmiller for his service. In her tweet posted on February 19, she highlighted his career achievements: "From his outstanding leadership as chief of the Marion Police Department to serving overseas with the FBI, Chief Mike Kitsmiller has dedicated his life to protecting others."

On February 20, Hinson announced her involvement in introducing a bipartisan bill aimed at expanding fuel options nationwide. She tweeted about the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act: "I helped introduce the bipartisan Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act with @RepAdrianSmith, which would allow E15 to be sold nationwide year-round."
