Ashley Hinson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 2nd district since 2021, shared several updates via her Twitter account on February 5, 2025.

In her first tweet, Hinson advised caution due to weather conditions. She stated, "Stay safe in today's icy conditions! Monitor local news & alerts & stay off the roads if possible." This message was posted at 19:08:40 UTC.

Later that day at 20:07:01 UTC, Hinson tweeted about an event at the White House. She noted her presence there as President Biden was set to sign an executive order concerning sports integrity. Hinson expressed her approval by stating, "Just arrived at the White House where @POTUS will soon sign an executive order protecting the integrity of girls' sports. I’m so thankful we have commonsense leadership in the White House again!"

In another engagement earlier that morning, Hinson met with representatives from the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa. At 23:01:39 UTC she shared her experience on Twitter saying, "It was great to meet with the National Federation of the Blind of Iowa this morning! We had an engaging conversation about supporting accessibility for Iowans with visual impairment and I appreciate their continued advocacy."
