Ashley Hinson, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 2nd district, has been vocal about various national and international issues through her social media platform. Her recent posts highlight her continued service on significant committees, her stance on global initiatives led by China, and recognition of Iowa's fiscal strategies.

On February 4, 2025, Hinson expressed her commitment to serving on the Committee on Communist China. She emphasized the importance of addressing what she describes as a "generational threat" posed by Communist China while prioritizing American interests. "I am honored to continue serving on the @committeeonccp to confront the generational threat posed by Communist China and ensure we put Americans first."

In another post dated February 5, 2025, Hinson commented on China's Belt and Road Initiative. She criticized it for exploiting countries globally for China's gain. She extended gratitude towards Donald Trump and Marco Rubio for their leadership in holding China accountable and safeguarding America's global interests. "China’s Belt and Road Initiative exploits countries around the world for its own personal gain."

Later that day, Hinson praised Iowa's fiscal management under its governor's leadership. She mentioned that Iowa set trends before they became popular and commended its model of fiscal responsibility. This post also highlighted her enthusiasm for promoting Iowa's conservative successes nationally. "Iowa was doing DOGE before it was cool."
