Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congress member representing Iowa's 2nd district, shared her views on recent political developments through a series of tweets. Hinson, who has been serving in Congress since 2021 after replacing Abby Finkenauer, is known for her active engagement on social media.

On January 24, 2025, Hinson commented on President Trump's speech at the World Economic Forum. She stated that "President Trump was clear in his speech to the World Economic Forum: America will no longer be taken advantage of on the world stage. We will ensure America is strong — and that will make the entire world safer." She contrasted this with what she described as "four years of weakness and failure under Joe Biden."

Later that day, Hinson expressed gratitude towards participants of the March for Life event in Washington. She wrote "To all who are in Washington to participate in the #MarchForLife, thank you for your unwavering support for life. Our pro-life, pro-family movement is growing. Thank you for your dedication!"

In another tweet posted on January 24th, Hinson referenced remarks by President Trump regarding energy policies. She declared "You heard the president: America's war on gas cars is over! The Trump Admin is already delivering on the American people’s mandate to unleash American energy, drive down prices, and end out-of-touch EV mandates."
