On December 9, 2024, Ashley Hinson criticized President Biden's immigration policies, claiming that "Biden has allowed countless Tren de Agua gang members into the US – allowing them to attack Americans & terrorize communities across the country." Later on December 10, Hinson announced a significant change in her team leadership by appointing Sophie Seid as her new Chief of Staff. She expressed enthusiasm about this development stating: "Excited to share that Sophie Seid will be my new Chief of Staff.
