Ashley Hinson, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Iowa's 2nd district since 2021, has been vocal on various issues through her social media platform. Born in Des Moines, Iowa, and a graduate of the University of Southern California, Hinson has consistently shared her views on national policies and legislation.

On December 3, 2024, Ashley Hinson expressed her stance against financial support for sanctuary cities by stating "Nuts is right. And it’s exactly why we shouldn’t give a single penny to sanctuary cities."

Later that day, she criticized the current administration with a tweet describing it as "The most corrupt and least transparent Administration in history."

In another post on the same day, Hinson announced the passage of her bipartisan legislation aimed at addressing trade violations by China. She stated that this legislation would help American workers by holding China accountable for tariff evasion and slave labor practices: "PASSED: My bipartisan legislation to hold China accountable for trade violations that undermine US workers & industry... By holding Communist China accountable for tariff evasion & using slave labor we can level the playing field for American workers & reshore manufacturing jobs."
