The Hawkeye RedTails have added Becca Platte of Wapsie Valley High School to the volleyball team.
"I'm excited to meet new people and play volleyball at a higher level," says Platte. "At my high school, I was a four-year varsity starter and received honorable mention my senior year. My team qualified for state two times and finished as runner-ups my sophomore year. I played nine seasons for Iowa Elite and we were regional runner-ups my freshman, junior, and senior year."
Platte plans to study liberal arts during her time at Hawkeye Community College.
