Union Community School District 2022 RED DAY DAY 2

Union Community School District recently issued the following announcement.

  • Don’t forget to get your names in for the weekly  PBIS drawing!!   I will draw  winners on Wednesdays.       Good Luck!   
  • We have 3 on 3 basketball tournament registration forms in the office if you would like to pick one up.  Deadline is March 23rd. 
  • Congratulations on a very  successful  Lip Off !!! Over  $4,250.00  ……. for Tunnels to Towers !!!   Congratulations to the GANGSTA GIRLS on being crowned LIP OFF CHAMPIONS!!    Thanks to everyone who contributed to this awesome cause!!! You are all greatly appreciated!!!! 
  • Anyone interested in  participating in a  Poster Contest for Tama Soil and Water Conservation District   please stop in the office for the information packet and registration form. 
  • Congratulations to February Students of the Month:  6th grade:  Cayden Stoneman, Bryson DeWinter, and Owen Schmitz.   7th grade:  Kenny Van’t Sant , Alivia Harmsen, and Taylen Smith.  8th grade:  Jill Hanson, Jersey Siech, and Taryn Ambrose. 
  • Track practice  for boys  will  be on Thursday this  week.   Girls track practice will start after spring break. .  Reminder:  Please have a current  physical and be sure to have your concussion/insurance forms turned into the office.  Thanks.   Also, don’t forget to check out the track webstore, the deadline to order is  tomorrow  at midnight 
  • Any  8th grade boys who would like to go out for high school  baseball, please come and sign up in the office. 
  • Be sure  to go and check out Footloose , an awesome  musical put on by our talented Union high school  students.  Performances are this Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 pm in the Auditorium at the high school. Tickets are $8.00!! 
  • Congratulations to the 7th/8th grade band for their “Excellent” rating at the NEIBA Middle School Large Group Contest in Independence on Friday.  Elisabeth Lampe and Cooper Spore played solos during one of the pieces and the judges gave them high regards for their performance.”
