On Saturday, March 29, former Waterloo West High School standout Jersey VanErem’s current college team, the Quincy Hawks, lost 4-3 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Southwest Baptist Bearcats.

The game took place at SBU Softball Field. This was their second matchup against the Bearcats this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 12 p.m. at Loyola Park Softball Field against Rockhurst Hawks.
