On March 31, 2025, Hinson addressed the recent investment directed at increasing access to E15, a biofuel. She expressed the importance of this investment for Iowa by stating: "This investment is a big win for Iowa—supporting access to E15 strengthens our rural communities, supports our farmers, and lowers everyone’s price at the pump.
