Waterloo Times

The community is invited to a public meeting on March 23, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. regarding the 2023 Alley Reconstruction Project. The meeting will be at City Hall (220 Clay Street) in the City Council Foyer. It is on a come-and-go basis. 

As a part of the 2023 Alley Reconstruction Project, the following alleys have been scheduled for construction during the 2023 construction season:

• East 2nd and East 3rd  Street from Main Street to State Street (concrete)
• Walnut and Iowa from West 12th Street to West 13th Street (permeable)
• Franklin and Clay Street from West 13th Street to West 14th Street (concrete)
• Clay and Washington Street from West 13th Street to West 14th Street (permeable)

With the project nearing its final design, all members of the community are welcome to attend this meeting to speak with City staff about any questions or concerns with the planned work. If you are unable to attend the meeting but have questions, please contact Brett Armstrong at 319-268-5161.
