The City of Cedar Falls will be holding a neighborhood meeting on September 1, 2022, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Public Works facility (2200 Technology Parkway) regarding the reconstruction of streets in the North Cedar Heights area over the next five years. These streets include Cherry Lane, Edwards Avenue, East and West Ridgewood Drive, Greenwood Avenue, Oakland Avenue, Picturesque Drive, Timber Drive, and Woodland Avenue. All members of the public are invited to attend.
Updated information will be provided on the design and construction-related items such as repaving, water main, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer. More specific information on the planned reconstruction of Phase 1 (West Ridgewood Drive from Greenwood Avenue to Cherry Lane, and Timber Drive from Grand Boulevard to Greenwood Avenue) will be available as well.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a brief presentation reviewing the design requirements, scope, and expectations of the project, construction phasing, and a 2023 construction timeline. Following this presentation, a large plan-view map will be available for viewing. During this time, City officials will be available to answer any questions.
If you have any questions prior to the meeting, or after, please contact the Cedar Falls Engineering Division at (319) 268-5161.
