City of Cedar Falls recently issued the following announcement.

Union Road Recreational Trail
During the week of November 15th, Van Dorne crews are finishing paving Sonoma Drive and the remaining Trail. They have the South half of W. 12th Street intersection paved and are working on the North. Lodge construction is working on spreading topsoil and placing hydroseed throughout the site.
Cedar Heights Drive Reconstruction (Cedar Heights Drive & Greenhill Road)
For the week of Thanksgiving, crews will be continuing with paving operations on the southern half of the Cedar Heights and Greenhill intersection near Cedar Hill. A traffic will continue in the current pattern for east and westbound traffic on Greenhill. Crews will also be working on the northbound approach and other handwork locations along Cedar Heights Drive. Access will be maintained in its current state for this phase of construction until the Cedar Hill intersection is reopened.
Cyber Lane
The road is graded, rocked, and trimmed. No pavement yet. There is a jog in the curb line in the southeast area of the site. Consultant to meet on site this coming Monday to verify the alignment.
West 27th Street Sanitary Sewer Extension
For the week of Thanksgiving, crews will be continuing with underground sanitary sewer installation work crossing W. 27th Street to the new High School site. Crews anticipate the W. 27th to be fully open shortly after Thanksgiving once paving operations are complete.
2021 Permeable Alley Project (9th/10th Street and Main/State Alley and 12th/13th Street and Washington/Main Alley)
During the week of November 15th, both alleys have been completed and all that is left is punchlist items for this project.

Public Sidewalk Repair and Infill Project
During the week of November 15th, Cobalt has wrapped up pouring sidewalk on Hudson Road from W. 8th Street to W. 12th Street and has backfilled along the neew sidewalk. Cobalt will be moving over to Rownd street to start removals and moving quick towards placing the new sidewalk.
CDBG Sidewlak Infill Project
During the week of November 15th, OEL has cpmpleted pouring sidewalk on Tuscon Drive, and wrapped up placing topsoil. Matthias is starting to move in to hydroseed and place sod along the infill. Next OEL is moving to W. 3rd street to start the removals of the Eastern infill.
W. 1st Street/HWY 57 from Franklin Street to Hudson Road
For the week of Thanksgiving, crews will be finishing the last of punch list items along the corridor from Highland to Franklin. As crews work to finalize the project, sidewalk closures and outside lane closures should be expected for work behind the back of curb. Work will include signage placement, hand railing installation, and sidewalk related work.
