Iowa is one of two states that will host rallies for former President Donald J. Trump in the fall.
Trump, the 45th commander-in-chief, will visit the Hawkeye State in what some speculate is an attempt to help jumpstart his rumored 2024 presidential bid.
Former South Carolina Republican senatorial candidate Timothy Swain made the announcement on Twitter.
“President Trump Rally in Iowa!” Swain tweeted on Sept. 7.
Georgia will be first to receive Trump, who will grace a Peach State rally in the city of Perry on Sept. 25.
Trump lost Georgia, which had been voting red for a quarter-century, in last year’s election.
The Hill reported that after his Georgia rally, Trump will visit Des Moines on Oct. 9.
Iowa went to Trump, who founded the Save America leadership PAC after his departure from the highest office in the land, in both the 2016 and 2020 contests.
Both Georgia and Iowa will serve as essential to Trump’s White House aspirations should he make them official.
Fox News reported that the Trump Iowa event will be held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
Since leaving the White House, Trump has taken the unorthodox role of his successor’s vocal critic.
He has criticized President Joe Biden and his administration on such things as the electoral process and the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan.
