Construction Updates: October 23, 2020
Downtown Streetscape (project located on 2nd Street):
Crews will continue working on the concrete edge restraint and repairs along E 2nd Street. The brick paver contractor is expecting to continue work on the W 2nd Street sidewalks through a majority of this next week, then jumping over to E 2nd after the concrete work is finished. When colder temperatures arrive that may dip below freezing, the brick paver contractor will be limited to working once the temperatures are above freezing for a majority of the day. This is related to the materials used to secure the pavers into place, and their workability under colder temperatures.
Expected project completion date: Fall 2020
