City of Waterloo issued the following announcement on Feb. 29.
Waterloo's Irving Elementary School is the winner of the 2020 Healthiest State K-12 School Award, presented by HealthPartners UnityPoint Health. The award recognizes Irving Elementary for its efforts to improve the physical, social and emotional well-being of its students and staff. This is the second consecutive year that Irving has been selected as a winner. Congratulations to this dedicated team of educators and health professionals. You are making a difference in the lives of our children!
