Ashley Hinson, serving in the U.S. Congress representing Iowa's 2nd District, recently shared various updates on her initiatives and activities through a series of tweets. These posts highlight her engagement with community services, emergency infrastructure projects, and agricultural discussions, reflecting her ongoing commitments and priorities.

On April 22, 2025, Hinson tweeted about her visit to Exceptional Persons, Inc. "Exceptional Persons, Inc. does incredible work providing community-based services for Iowans. I enjoyed learning more about the work EPI does to support those with disabilities, and discussing our shared goal of improving access and resources to help Iowans live independently!".

The following day, April 23, 2025, she participated in a significant milestone for the Gilbertville Emergency Services Building, sharing her enthusiasm via Twitter "Just over a year ago, I joined the groundbreaking ceremony for the Gilbertville Emergency Services Building, and yesterday, I was thrilled to participate in the ribbon-cutting to celebrate the completion of this project! This space will give the brave police, firefighters, and".

Later the same day, Hinson took part in a discussion with Farm Bureau members in Cresco. She tweeted about the topics covered during their roundtable "I joined a group of Farm Bureau members for a roundtable discussion in Cresco. We discussed tariffs, supporting family farms, the importance of expanding market access, reversing radical policies like Prop 12, and more!".

Ashley Hinson, born in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1983, has been representing Iowa’s 2nd District since 2021, following her initial public service role as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives from 2017. A graduate of the University of Southern California with a BA, she lives in Marion.
