On March 7, 2025, Hinson tweeted about efforts against Mexican drug cartels, noting that "Mexican drug cartel leaders have 'gone into hiding' since Trump rightly designated cartels as Foreign Terrorist Organizations."

In another tweet on the same day, she highlighted economic developments in the United States, stating that there has been an announcement of "$1.7 trillion in new U.S. investment in the last few weeks – creating good-paying American jobs!"
