Public Meeting To Review Epa Grant Application For Former Rath Building

The City of Waterloo will host a public meeting to review a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Brownfields Cleanup Grant application for the former Rath Building located at 1442 Sycamore Street in Black Hawk County, Waterloo, IA. The public is invited to attend the meeting which will take place at Waterloo City Hall in the Mollenhoff Conference Room, 715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa 50703 on November 7, 2022 at 1:00 PM.

A copy of the application, as well as an Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup Alternatives, available for public review and comment at the meeting.  Comments regarding the application can be submitted to the City of Waterloo, Community Planning and Development at 715 Mulberry Street, Waterloo, Iowa 50703 by November 11, 2022. The grant will be submitted to the EPA on November 22, 2022.
