City of Cedar Falls recently issued the following announcement.
The community is invited to a Public Information meeting on January 25, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Cedar Falls Community Center (528 Main Street) regarding the 2022 Street Construction Project. The meeting is on a come-and-go basis.
As a part of the 2022 Street Construction Project, the following streets have been scheduled for construction during the 2022 construction season:
Olive Street from West 4th Street to West 6th Street | Type: Full Reconstruction
West 18th Street from Campus Street to College Street | Type: Full Reconstruction
Elmwood Avenue from Rainbow Drive to Waterloo Road | Type: Asphalt Overlay
Hudson Road from West 1st Street to West 12th Street | Type: Asphalt Overlay
Pin Oak Drive from Waterloo Road to Victory Drive | Type: Asphalt Overlay
City staff will be present to address questions, comments, or concerns with the planned work at this time. If you are unable to attend the meeting but have additional questions, please contact Cody Hager or Ben Claypool at 319-268-5161 with information on the above items, or any other questions you may have on the 2022 Street Construction Project.
