Union Community School District Friday, December 17th RED Day Day 6

Union Community School District recently issued the following announcement.

  •  Don’t forget to get your names in for the weekly  PBIS drawing!!    I will be drawing names  on Wednesday. .  Be sure to fill out a slip with your first and last name on it and get entered for the drawing! 
  • Update on our UMS Fundraiser:  First of all, a huge THANK YOU goes out to all the people who donated!  Thanks to Mindy and Mr. Slack for all they did to make this such a success. We reached our goal of $15,000, which is awesome!  Top KT classes were : 6th Grade:  Alpers   7th Grade:  Hogan   8th Grade:  Moody. Mr. Hogan’s KT was the overall money raiser!    We will be celebrating this next Wednesday.  Mr. Slack is preparing to get some pies in his face!!!
  • 7th and 8th grade boys going out for basketball Reminder:  Make  sure to have an up to date physical, or you cannot participate.
  •   The PBIS Store is a great place to do some Christmas shopping!! Please be sure to check out all the new and festive items!! Awesome new deals
  •   In the spirit of Christmas we are going to have some fun days to countdown to Christmas!!!  Monday, wear your green  , Grinch stuff!!!!! You should have received an email with all the days on it!!  Show your Holiday Spirit!! 
  • Reminder if you have not brought in your $2.00 yet for the holiday parties, you can still do that.   Just bring it to the office. Also, be sure to get your homework turned in, detention made up, and books renewed or turned in so you can participate in the fun next Wednesday!   
  • Make sure you turn in your Dodgeball forms today to Mr. Schmidt or Mr. Moody.
  • Great job to the wrestlers last night:  1 pin: Gus Kirby, Skyler Mehlert, Mays Weber,  2 pins:  Stratton Luke, Keaton Trebon, Brock Bergmeier, and Kaydin Jones.  3 Pins:  Coy Mehlert, and 4 pins:  Garrett Kaalberg.  
  • Great effort by our 7th and8th grade girls basketball teams last night!!!   Keep working hard!!! 
  • There will be an open gym Monday after school for any 7th and 8th grade boys planning on going out for basketball.  There will be a shuttle available for LaPorte City boys.
