Census Bureau: More women than men in Black Hawk County in 2019

Of the 132,393 people living in Black Hawk County in 2019, 50.8 percent (67,306) were women and 49.2 percent (65,087) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Waterloo Times.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 41,558-to-41,012. In the 65 and over age range, there were 11,735 females and 9,403 males.
