City of Cedar Falls issued the following announcement on Dec. 4.
The City of Cedar Falls is inviting citizens to participate in the next steps of the Cedar Falls Resilience Plan by completing an online worksheet which will be available from December 15 to December 22, 2020, at www.cfresilience.com.
This will be the first of three total worksheets seeking input on specific topics and actions emerging from the initial public survey and the six community workshops that were held in October 2020 as part of the on-going development of the Resilience Plan. The worksheets will focus on ecology, the built-environment, the community, jobs, and the local economy.
There will also be an opportunity for those who have not yet completed the initial public survey to do so. This survey consists of two parts and is open again to citizens from December 15 to December 22 at www.cfresilience.com. All community members are highly encouraged to share their feedback by completing both sections.
The second worksheet will be available in mid-January and a third worksheet available in early March. Each will be used to further refine information gathered from the previous worksheet. Visit www.cfresilience.com to sign up for email notifications to stay updated on worksheet dates.
All the public input collected throughout the planning effort will be used to develop a draft of the Resilience Plan, which is tentatively scheduled for public review and comment by Spring 2021.
